Spider-Man, also known as Spider-Man: The Animated Series, was an American animated television series based on the Marvel Comics superhero, Spider-Man. The show ran on Doordarshan in India during 80’s in its National Channel. The show grabbed a huge fan following among the kids during those days. Still now the people remember of those Spidey Sundays of Doordarshan. The series focuses on Spider-Man and his alter ego Peter Parker during his college years at Empire State University.
